Terms of Service
Last updated: 26 July 2026 · Currently published in English only.
These terms govern every pre-order request submitted on saboresaudade.com. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy, Returns & Withdrawal Policy, and Shipping Policy, which form part of this agreement.
1. Who you're buying from
Sabor & Saudade is operated by Anchor, a sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak) registered in Belgium under VAT/enterprise number BE1033.655.457, registered address Groene Grachtlaan 2, 3740 Bilzen-Hoeselt, Belgium. Full contact details are on our Contact page.
2. Products and pricing
Prices shown on the site are in euros (€) and are indicative — since this site currently takes pre-order requests rather than payment, we confirm final availability and pricing with you by email before any charge is made. We take reasonable care to display prices and product information accurately, but errors can occur; if we discover a pricing error after you've submitted a request, we'll tell you before confirming your order.
Product photos are representative — actual packaging or vintage may vary slightly, particularly for imported goods.
Shipping costs are not calculated automatically. We confirm the delivery fee with you directly, as described in our Shipping Policy. Pickup is always free.
3. Submitting a pre-order request
Adding items to your pre-order list and submitting the form is not a purchase and does not create a binding contract or take any payment — it's a request for us to check availability and get in touch. A sale is only agreed once we've confirmed availability, final pricing, and delivery details with you directly by email, and payment (arranged separately, outside this site) has been received.
We may decline a pre-order request — for example if an item is unavailable, if we suspect misuse of the form, or if a pricing error occurred — in which case we'll let you know.
4. How your request is handled
Submitting the form sends your pre-order details (the items you selected, your name, email, and delivery preference) to us by email via a third-party email delivery service. We don't process any payment or store card or bank details on this site.
5. Delivery
See our Shipping Policy for delivery areas, timing, and how pickup works. Risk of loss or damage to goods passes to you once the goods are delivered to you or to a carrier you've arranged.
6. Right of withdrawal & returns
Once a sale is confirmed and payment arranged, EU consumers ordering from within the EU have a 14-day right of withdrawal under EU law, with some exceptions for perishable and hygiene-sealed goods. See our full Returns & Right of Withdrawal Policy for how this works and which products are excluded.
7. Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate contact and delivery information, and to use the site lawfully. You may not use the site to commit fraud, infringe intellectual property, or disrupt its operation.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law doesn't allow it — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud. Beyond that, our liability for any confirmed order is limited to the price paid for that order. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under Belgian or EU law.
9. Intellectual property
The site's design, text, logo, and original photography belong to us or our licensors. Product photography for our coffee range is used with the permission of our roasting partner, Torra. You may not reproduce or reuse site content commercially without permission.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time — for example to reflect a change in the law or how we operate. The version in force is the one published on the site at the time you submit a pre-order request. Material changes will be dated on this page.
11. Governing law & disputes
These terms are governed by Belgian law. If you're a consumer, this choice of law doesn't deprive you of the protections given to you by the mandatory law of the country where you live. Any dispute may be brought before the competent Belgian courts or, for consumers, the courts of your own place of residence within the EU. See our Complaints & Disputes page for how to raise an issue before going to court.
